Steeped in music and ceremony since birth, Poranguí was raised between the lands and cultures of his native Brazil, Mexico, and the Southwestern United States
As a live looping artist and one-man orchestra, Poranguí crafts his performances from scratch, weaving together ancestral songs and indigenous rhythms from around the globe, from meditative to dance music, transcending the divide between performer and audience. His grooves move the body and uplift the spirit, creating a transformative experience for all. Carrying on his lineage, he lives in service to Pachamama as an artist and activist.
